Newport 8.5x11 Scrapbook
Refined. Archival. Designed to Endure.
The Newport 8.5 x 11 is a more intimate rendition of the iconic 11 x 14 Kolo Newport album—the original Kolo design that has been the choice of discerning creatives since 1998. Ideal for portfolios, special commemorations, or tightly curated stories, it offers the same archival craftsmanship and timeless design in a slightly more compact format.
Clad in luxurious Italian-milled book cloth and built on heavyweight bookbinding board, each album opens to reveal premium, acid-free pages with cloth hinges that lay flat for optimal presentation. Its proportions feel balanced in the hand, yet grand in impact.
Bound using Kolo’s signature Chicago screw-post system with chrome-finished brass hardware, the Newport 8.5 x 11 allows pages to be added, reordered, or removed effortlessly—expanding to 40 or even 50 sheets (80 to 100 pages total), offering flexibility for projects that evolve over time.
Photos, text, and ephemera are secured using archival photo corners or two-way photo tape, allowing for infinite arrangements: from linear portfolios to expressive mixed-media storytelling.
For those who seek the ultimate presentation, the Newport 8.5 x 11 fits perfectly inside our Kolo Havana Large Archive Box. Together, they form an elegant system—for collectors, artists, and those who wish to mark life’s finest occasions with quiet permanence.
Available in multiple colorways and also offered in bonded leather. Archival. Acid-free. A modern heirloom.
Backed by the Kolo Guarantee.
Page Note:
Newport albums in Black, Platinum, and Red include rich Black pages with matching end-leaves. All other colorways feature Soft-White archival pages and end-leaves.
